The Photo CD

I shoot only digital photos. I use a Nikon D80 digital SLR with a 70-300mm lens. I typically shoot JPEGs at about 6 Megapixels. In English that means that your pictures will have enough resolution to look great at 8" by 10" print size. If you think you might want even larger prints, just let me know and I'll set the camera to shoot at 10 Megapixels.

I shoot a lot of pictures. A typical 1-hour session will produce about 400 pictures. After the session, I delete all the "throwaways" (blinking eyes, duplicates, blurs, etc). The remaining photos may range from 150 to 250 shots. I burn those to a CD and send them to you in the mail in a packaged envelope. If they got lost in the mail, no worries: I'll keep the files backed up at home until I know you've received them.
